Discussion regarding the recent identification of approximately $14 million in available funds that were not included in the FY 2026 Oklahoma County budget, including, but not limited to, the factors that led to the omission, the timing of when the issue was identified, the manner in which the information was evaluated and communicated upon discovery, and a review of internal controls in place at the time as well as any enhancements implemented to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
