Discussion and possible action to authorize application for grant funding of up to $4,000,000 through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance pursuant to the Justice Reinvestment Initiative: Strengthening State and Local Operations to Reduce Crime and Recidivism program. Funds awarded will be used for technology and software, equipment, training, and recruitment. No matching funds required. Requested by Tim Kimrey, Jail Administrator.
