Title: Discussion and possible action regarding Resolution No. 2025-2764 to amend or not to amend the zoning as provided in Title 19 O.S.,§868.16 on a tract of land from R-2 - Rural Residential District to C-L - Commercial-Limited District (Z-2025-02). The Oklahoma County Planning Commission has recommended denial during a public meeting on June 26, 2025. The applicant proposes to change the zoning to develop a commercial strip center. Written protests against the amendment, signed and acknowledged by the owners of twenty percent (20%) of the frontage within one thousand (1,000) feet to the right or left of the frontage proposed to be changed, were filed with the County Planning Commission. This amendment may not be passed except by the favorable vote of all members of the Board of County Commissioners. The area to be rezoned encompasses approximately 6 acres.
