Title: Discussion and possible action regarding the Oklahoma 9-1-1 Management Authority Grant resolution and authorization to apply for grant funds. The funds will be used for Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office to become compliant with Next Generation 911 (NG911) Geographic Information System (GIS) Components and Address Standard in the State of Oklahoma regarding GIS based addressing. The standard set forth is to be maintained, utilized, and distributed under the authority of the Oklahoma 9-1-1 Management Authority, the Oklahoma Geographic Information Council, and the Oklahoma Office of Geographic Information. This standard is mandatory for NG911 purposes in the State of Oklahoma.  Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office will use the state funds from the Oklahoma 9-1-1 Management Authority to hire a consultant under state contract SW1177 to complete the work required.
