Discussion and possible action regarding a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) regarding calling a sales tax election to be held November 3, 2026 to approve a new four-tenths of one percent (0.40%) county sales tax for a period of twenty-five years to fund the operation, maintenance, construction, renovation, financing, equipping, and staffing of county detention, diversion and mental health facilities and programs, or to recommend other sales tax terms. This item has been reviewed as to form and legality by Lisa Endres, ADA, and recommended by Steve Mason, Board Chair.
