Title: Discussion and possible action of an award from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office the Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration funds. This award in the amount of $597,880.00 is for continued funding of two traffic safety educators charged with conducting traffic safety programs statewide. Funding for OCSO to conduct at least six (6) eight-hour Teen Driving Courses with the Teen's Vehicle and waiver signed paired with a CLEET LEDT traffic safety instructor. The award will also include overtime for deputies working traffic safety, with an emphasis on speed and occupant protection in Oklahoma County to continue reduction of injuries and deaths on Oklahoma County roadways.
