The Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority respectfully requests your consideration and approval of initial funding for operation of the Authority in the amount of $100,000.00, which operational funding may be used for Authority expenses associated with:
a. the Trustee Planning Session on August 5, 2019 and other Trustee Planning Sessions;
b. the Independent Financial Report for the Oklahoma County Detention Center;
c. legal services;
d. consulting services associated with development of a plan for operation of the Oklahoma County Detention Center and the selection of providers of operational services for the Oklahoma County Detention Center; and
e. other expenses necessary and proper for the fulfillment of the purposes of the Authority.
It is recognized and understood that a contract between the Authority and the BOCC will be required before any portion of this initial funding can be transferred to the Authority, along with satisfaction of other procedural requirements of the Office of Treasurer and others.
