| 1 | 7. | | Departmental Items | Discussion and possible action regarding the installation of additional 4th Floor smoke detectors for the Juvenile Justice Center. Funding for this project in the amount of $9,099 was received in the September 2020 supplement for FY 20/21 ($5,914-detention budget) ($3,185-bureau budget). Requesting additional funding in the amount of $6,462, making the total project cost $15,561. Due to COVID-19, the Fire Marshall did not respond to Firetrol's request to review and approve the design until October 23, 2020. The Fire Marshall is requiring additional smoke detectors to approve the design, which amounts to the additional funding requested of $6,462 ($4200.30-detention) ($2,261.70-bureau). The Fire Marshall is also requiring additional smoke detectors on the 3rd floor as well (FY 18/19 project). We are absorbing the cost for the 3rd floor of $2,941. | 1 | 8. | | Departmental Items | Discussion and possible action regarding the installation of new conduit and in-ground breaker box to west parking lot light poles.
